About Keya Taylor

I believe one of the greatest supports during challenging times is having someone to talk to.  I provide a safe environment for clients to "open up" by being empathetic, warm, and interested in the client's experiences.  I am dedicated to helping people grow in the ways they desire to.  In addition to private practice, I serve as a Behavioral Clinician at a community agency and a Christian Counselor at community center building and restoring individuals, adolescents, couples, families and groups. I believe the most effective approach is relational, focusing on the mutual participation and engagement in the therapeutic space to better understand and develop the capacity for meaningful connection and engagement with others.  I also come from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Biblical Counseling approaches supplemented with various treatment methods to meet client's need.
